Opened its doors in Dec 2010 the most modern shopping mall in Iraq with over 130 shops to cater for all customer needs, with the anchor tenant Carrefour, open since Jan 2011. Situated in a prime location on 100m street in the heart of Erbil city centre, alongside the Family Fun amusement park the location offers something for all the family.

In addition to the Carrefour Superstore one of the top 5 supermarket groups in the world, retailers such as Mango, LCW, DKNY, Timberland, Bossini, Geox, Springfield, US Polo, Defacto, FLO, Koton, Mothercare, Home Istanbul, K.F.C (opening mid 2014), KOREK Telecom and many other international brands have now opened in the mall. Also offering a wide selection of fast food outlets, an attractive feature of this modern shopping complex, popular now with visitors to the mall. Empire Group have opened a 14 screen Multi Plex Cinema an superb attraction for all the family, which has added even more value to the Family Mall shopping experience.

Such is the success of Family Mall Erbil that work has now started on a 12,000m2 extension to the mall, to cater for more international brands requiring shop units, as they see the growing potential of retail shopping in Erbil

New Family Mall`s locations are under construction in both Suliamania and Dohuk, two Kurdistan cities that like Erbil are fast developing and in need of modern shopping malls.
